At Carter Machinery, the word “Service” can have different meanings. From a technician working on your equipment or a sales representative coordinating the rental of a machine to our finance department answering a question about your account, it’s all about Service. But no matter what the context, there’s one common thread: We’re not satisfied until you are.
No matter what type of equipment you operate, from dump trucks or skid steers to generators or skidders, uptime is critical. Carter Machinery understands this and has unparalleled service capabilities. We can tailor preventive maintenance plans around your schedule and respond quickly if you have an issue.

Electronic Logging Device Mandate
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) announced on March 12, 2014 a rule to mandate electronic logging devices. The effective date of December 18, 2017 means time is running out for fleet compliance. This new law includes a number of provisions intended to help reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities involving large trucks and buses by holding motor carriers and drivers to the highest safety standards while removing the highest risk drivers, vehicles, and carriers from the roads.
