As we continue to monitor the status of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Carter Machinery is keeping a very close watch on all changes, both inside and outside our service territory, that may impact our ability to serve our customers.

Recently, the State of Pennsylvania declared a State of Emergency, shuttering all “nonessential” businesses across the state. Many of you may be aware that one of Caterpillar’s largest Parts Distribution Centers (PDC) is located in York, PA. Carter Machinery works closely with this facility to supply you with the parts you need to conduct business and serve our communities.

Carter Machinery confirmed this morning with Caterpillar that this facility has been deemed as an Essential Business and will continue to operate as normal.  Carter Machinery will continue to work with the York PDC under normal operating conditions, which includes nightly emergency parts orders and parts stock replenishment to all fifteen (15) of Carter’s facilities.
