EVENTS GIVE CUSTOMERS THEIR FIRST LOOK AT THE NEW, NEXT GENERATION CAT® COMPACT TRACK LOADERS
Attendees in three states participated in hands-on demonstrations of the 255 & 265
SALEM, VA – August 26, 2024. Earlier this year, the next generation of Cat® Compact Track Loaders (CTL) were unveiled at a series of events held by Carter Machinery throughout their Mid-Atlantic territory. These events gave the company’s customers a first look at the Cat 255 and 265 CTL’s and a chance to try out the new machines.
At each of the events in Salem, Dulles, and Richmond, Va., Myersville, Md., and Felton, Del., one lucky customer won a 27-quart Cat cooler, and all attendees had an opportunity to climb behind the controls for hands-on demonstrations of the 255 and 265, as well as enjoy lunch from Mission BBQ.
The new models differ from their predecessors in that the 255 and 265 CTL feature 13% and 43% more torque, respectively, along with greater lift and tilt breakout forces. Both models also make truck loading easier with a vertical lift design that delivers extended reach and height, and larger cabs with a redesigned operator station for easier entry and exit, more room, and a quiet, comfortable workspace. A standard torsion suspension undercarriage enables the machines to also deliver more productivity and comfort for operators, as well as increased load retention.
For a limited time, Caterpillar and Carter Machinery are offering 0% financing for 48 months with $0 down and a free Cat Customer Value Agreement (CVA) with the purchase of either new model. Test drives of the new Cat CTL’s are also available by clicking here and completing the web form.
